Pink Storage is proud to announce the winner of its Shropshire Community Change initiative, launched to provide vital funding to organisations making a difference in their local communities. After a highly successful nomination and public voting process, FC Nations was awarded the top prize of £1,000.

FC Nations, a grassroots football club supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds, will use the funding to cover pitch hire and equipment for their new Under 6s team, the “Nations Nippers”.

The two runners up, Lingen Davies Cancer Support and Shrewsbury Repair Café, each receive £200 towards their projects to help them continue their efforts in the community and strengthen the positive impact they already make across the region.

A spokesperson from FC Nations said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as the winner of Pink Storage’s Community Change initiative. This support will help us cover pitch hire and buy new equipment for our youngest players, the Nations Nippers. We’re so grateful to everyone who voted for us and to Pink Storage for recognising and supporting grassroots projects like ours.”

“The response to our Community Change campaign in Shropshire has been incredible,” commented Scott Evans, SEO of Pink Storage. “It’s inspiring to see so many local groups dedicating their time and passion to helping others. We’d like to congratulate FC Nations on their well-deserved win and thank all the entrants for their outstanding contributions to their communities. We hope the funding helps each organisation continue their brilliant work.”
