Pumpkin picking, hay tower fun, wood-fired pizza and a Halloween Party are coming to a Mid Wales fam this October.

Porth Farm, Caersws, SY17 5SE is ready to welcome back families for its much-loved Pumpkin Patch with more than 55,000 pumpkins and gourds, a host of family-friendly activities and plenty of autumn magic.

The Pumpkin Patch, which will be open this weekend (October 17 and 18) and between October 24 and 30 from 9am to 4pm, promises a fun couple of hours out for families looking to embrace the autumn season, find their perfect pumpkin and make lasting memories together.

With a wide variety of pumpkins and gourds to explore, visitors can discover different shapes, sizes and colours – from traditional orange pumpkins ready for carving to unusual varieties perfect for autumn displays.

Whether it’s the annual family pumpkin hunt, capturing those all-important autumn photographs or simply enjoying the fresh countryside air, there’s something for everyone.

In addition to the pumpkin patch, visitors can jump about on the hay tower, spot character actors wandering around the patch, explore the farm trail and soak up the atmosphere of the farm during one of the most exciting times of the year.

After all the exploring, visitors can refuel at the farm’s pop-up café or enjoy delicious wood-fired pizza and local snack and drinks, spooky ‘i scream’, as well as carving kits.

On selected dates, there will be even more entertainment, with Emma’s Donkeys, face painting and the Disco Daddy Halloween Party bringing extra excitement and Halloween magic to the farm.

Families are encouraged to check the online booking calendar for dates and availability of these special attractions. Visitors must book an arrival time slot online in advance to secure their visit. Book tickets at: https://porthfarm.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/36652?catID=35486& .
